Sabino Canyon is one of many beautiful places to visit and hike in Tucson, AZ. There is an old structure there that has puzzled visitors for many years. No one knows for sure, but it's believed to be a water storage facility, possibly built by the WPA, or CCC, in the 1930s or 1940s. I painted this as I contemplated it's use and continued presence. It's part of the Coronado National Forest now.
