This is the larger version of the painting, Sabino Canyon House and Sky I. I sold the small painting, but liked the image so much, I re-interpreted it as a 30" x 30" painting on canvas. For the other painting, I wrote: Sabino Canyon is one of many beautiful places to visit and hike in Tucson, AZ. There is an old structure there that has puzzled visitors for many years. No one knows for sure, but it's believed to be a water storage facility, possibly built by the WPA, or CCC, in the 1930s or 1940s. I painted this as I contemplated it's use and continued presence. It's part of the Coronado National Forest now.
