Have you ever been to the Berkshires? As a Westerner, born and raised, the Berkshires were like another planet to me. I had the privilege of visiting the area during 'Leaf Peeping' season one year. As I looked around at the lush greens and surrounding trees, I often caught my breath in amazement at the sparkling colors of the leaves as they turned and fell gently to the ground. There was an intriguing notch carved out in the distant hill that also caught my eye. I think it was for utility access. I just loved it. This painting, one of my favorites, is my impression of that lovely moment. The original is not for sale, but prints are available!
